Some pics of the finished sculpture Honeycomb. This one is also Marble resin but with added texture, to give it more contrast and age. I might do this to my other sculptures if this proves to be popular.
Samuel Weston.
Glider finished sculpture. On display at my second exhibition in Aylesbury. The location was a lovely lama farm, unfortunately the weather wasn't so great.
Decided to do a couple of Smaller sculptures because the weather is too cold for Casting. This first one, is a slightly smaller than life size Bust. With this one I think only the hair will be cut away. The drawing depicts a plant growing through the sculpture. Maybe a light sat inside, would all so work, providing it doesn't effect the resin.
There will be 15 casts of this Sculpture. All carved into, to give this unique and organic climbing structure, for the potted plant to grow up (if you so desire).
The steel and wire frame, for a female gymnastic Sculpture. Along the same lines as the Glider Sculpture. It might be a while before I can do the Sculpt for this one, as I don't really have the space at the moment.

My first mold. This is half way through the mold making process.
This was a massive learning curve and in hindsight I should of started with something much smaller.
I've finished the mold now and everything seems good, The next stage is casting, this is where i'll find out for certain if the mold is any good.
